I guess it should be a good practice for every one to put on their flame
proof vests as they post to this list, it is becoming murder around here,
tough crowd ;)

don't think it's that we're tough. I just hope for a little forethought and courtesy from mailing list participants, and that includes thoughtful quoting and using attachments only when appropriate. A Newton mailing list that lots of people view in digest form seems like a bad place to use attachments. Nobody's perfect-I've made some dumb moves too. A friendly reminder shouldn't sting too bad.
