With a "stock" MP120, you can only print to printers that advertise themselves
as "LaserWriter" on an AppleTalk network, or locally attached few StyleWriter
models. Then, you can grab the PrintPack 2.0 package, that gives you a lot
more options, including printing to most HP printers. However, the PrintPack
was originally sold with a serial-to-parallel adapter that let you physically
connect your MP to the printer. You won't be able to print to any HP printer
using infrared, because the protocol they used was not finalized when your MP
120 rolled out of the assembly line.
So, if you really want to print to your HP, try to find a full PrintPack
package, that has both the software and the hardware components. PrintPacks
are often for auction on eBay. Check this link:

The other solution is that you could grab the software off the net and build
your own adapter. I know that some did that, but I don't know how to do it
myself.
