Apparently the "dead 130" thing is a known problem with these units. Mine is
currently in a coma from which it only wakes up once in a while if I hit it
just right. That suggests a loose connection somewhere, but I can't afford
to pay Doc Newton $80 to fix it. He lists this problem right on his web
page, but of course doesn't offer any explanations or fixes, since he'd just
as soon fix it himself for the fee. I sure wish there were a more detailed
description of what exactly the trouble is so that I could maybe try to fix
it myself or get one of my techie friends to do it. Anyone dealt with this
themselves?
Anyway, now that I have a 2100, I have set my nonresponsive 130 aside. Seems
a shame, though...
