I also wish there was such an app. I was just at COMDEX/Canada and in the
Fluke booth they were hyping their new network testing tool. It was pretty
cool. I wish my Newton could diagnose network problems but I'm not sure how
much functionality the NIE API would have in that respect (ie. messing
around with packets / Ethernet frames)
