Newtscape setting have be puzzled.
For the life of me I cannot see where I should set the port access in
the Newtscape preferences for a proxy setting.
Under General, Other options I've selected Proxy URL and written
proxy.laotel.com
but I can't see where I should include port 8080.
It was me that had the problem of not being able to access NIE
without a series of errors, and in trying to improve the situation I
inadvertently erased by ethernet access via deleting the Newton
Devices pkg. Oddly my faithful newton has cured itself of its modem
NIE ailments and with the encouragement and assistance of fellow
listie Joel, way on the other side of the planet, I'm almost up and
running again.
