Hello,
I have read reports of people putting in chips larger than 4MB when
upgrading a MP2000. I know the OS does not see the additional RAM
beyond 4MB, but does anyone know if the system functions the same
otherwise? I might consider adding a larger chip than 4MB in upgrading
my 2000 if I can get one with the same power drain, in the hopes of
someone writing a patch someday to see the additional RAM.
Of course, this is only a possibility if the system isn't crashing on
every pen input or something, as a result of the non-spec upgrade.
Anybody?
Thanks,
willi
