You CAN use other tools to transfer data from a Newton to a Mac via IrDA,
but you can't use IrDA with NCU. Search Info-Newt for IrDA and you'll
find a link in an article posted sometime last year to a web page with
info on how to do it; I think it was on the Irish Mac Users Group web
site. (A gentleman by the name of Kieran sent the info to me.
However, I'd suggest you use Ethernet. MUCH, MUCH faster. Numerous
cards will work with the Newton 2xxx and appropriate drivers; see the FAQ
for more info on this.
