The linux driver I found was derived from the Lucent driver, which is
deliberately obfuscated. I could not figure it out.
I then found the NetBSD driver, a clean re-implementation. While it is
not that well documented, the code is clean and organized. It is
intelligible.
I'll keep people informed on status. The source will most definitely be
distributed publicly, though to build it you need, well, exactly the right
tools in exactly the right places...
