the problem I found when trying to connect mine for the first time is
the LocalTalk box
they have to be the same (brand) on the Mac and on the Newton, once I
changed the box everything was fine :-)
and make sure all the extension are in the system folder !!
If you keep having trouble you might want to just use a serial cable
it's also much faster than AT
