That wouldn't be a problem. You would create an application that uses the
existing names soup, enter the hours within that app (which would largely
behave like Names, only that it will only show companies, and it will
compute the time left for shopping when you select a company), and have
the app support find. It's not something I would suggest for a first
programming project, but it can certainly be done.
