I, too, am on Mindspring, and I've found that you have to play around with the userID a little bit until you get it to work. Try entering both {userID}@mindspring.com and just your userID to see if that alleviates the problem. The reason you had to have "@mindspring.com" on the end of your ID for a while was because of Mindspring's acquisitions and mergers, which led to a Mindspring user and Netcom user both having the same ID, unless you separated them by using "@whatever.com". As I remember, I tried switching back and forth a few times, and then Mindspring got the idea and let me use just my userID without having to append "@mindspring.com" on the end.
