I guess a backup/restore is too cumbersome (?)
In case it is, I always understood that there were problems with the
synching programs on the Mac (Claris-Palm Organizer and Now Synchronize (is
that the correct name, sorry, it's late here and I've been working a bit
hard lately) that they could take over "command" over your Newton, but my
guess is that that isn't the problem in your case, you want your desktop to
have control over the one that you are synching to the other,
or am I wrong ?
