I suspect that what you are doing is indirectly applying additional
pressure to the flex/MLB interface by using the folded up business card.
As this connection relies on pressure for good mating, it is not surprising
that this cured it.

Is that untouched by YOU? Did you buy it brand new or 2nd hand? I don't

the software is the problem. It may be more noticeable in one program Vs
another
but it is probably hardware related.
