Why don't you try Nick's TestIt
(http://www.logictools.de/newton/english/freeware.html#testit). It does
everything the other two packages do, is freeware, and is a more current
piece from Nick Mueller at LogicTools.
This is what I use to evaluate newton hardware in addition to a physical
inspection.
