Yes I have. I have 2 MP2100 and 1 MP2100 at 220 Mhz. The numbers are about right, 160 to 220. Handwriting recognition is more responsive, opening applications are faster, the Extra Drawer opens much faster and here's the killer, doing searches is no longer a pain.
I have not done a side by side comparison. Never needed to, you know its faster. I've used mine for over a year and everytime I use my wife's MP2100, I complain. I make taps before l'm suppose to because I've become so used to the faster response.
In fact, I'm about to send my second unit for upgrading by Oliver Harms (PixSolution). Oh I forgot, restarting and loading of the pkgs are also faster.
Anyway, this is my experience, a very pleasant one I must add, though it has really spoilt me. But if you have to make a choice between the RAM upgrade and the processor upgrade, there is no contest, GET THE RAM UPGRADE... first.;-P
