NTLK How Do I Get My Newton to Stay Off?

I have been using Sleep Screen (by Stand Alone) for a few months now
without any problems.
Suddenly, the Newton will not shut off. It just comes right back on
again.
I have tried deleting Sleep Screen, but when the Newton restarts
Dashboard is malfunctioning, and there is Sleep Screen alive and well.

I have tried restarting and yelling, but neither seems to work.

Any ideas.
