Sometimes I loose the system update in my MP130. I think that its been
reported on this list. I use rechargable NiCd & metal hydride batts and if
they get too discharged I loose the sys upd, but nothing else. It hapens
from time to time.

unsuccessfully. My MP 130 was kept without batteries few fora months at a
time and whenever I want to "play" with it, I had to reinstall the latest
update or my modem card will not be recognized. That was how I found out.
