NTLK RE:screen protectors

i personally like the texture of the wrightrights, but i really don't like the adhesive, it's way too sticky.. am i the only one who is wary of how hard they pull the screen during removal?
i think the texture has become even more pronounced. i think that they are using a "new" texture that was made for the Palm screen.. where the rougher texture, and the moire that it makes really doesn't matter on a 160x160 screen..

i also like the nushields, but they have a serious static problem, attracting dust and lint. they also need to lengthen the protector by another 1-2.5 mm.. the edges near the top and bottom (looking at the MP2x00 in portrait mode)..
the edges of the film are always "chipped", this is
supposedly from the cutting process.. the texture coating is
very light, virtually no texture on it. some may like this, but i'd prefer a "felt" texture on it.. more like paper..

the install on either protector is tricky.. with the wrightright, it's the insane stickyness of the adhesive, which causes the installer to leave fingerprints/dirt/oils on the adhesive. and that will show.. and, that is if you can install it without getting airbubbles under the film..
the nushield is much easier to install, but has problems.. the edges of the film gets chipped if the screen gap is tight on the newton.. and, it really has to be forced into place, the film can, and will crease if it slips during installation.. the film eventually slips around during use, and has to be repositioned, and from this.. chips the edges of the film, which over time becomes a visual mar along the edges of the film.. it also will develop swirl scratches from trying to remove the lint and dust from it during use..
using a cleaner/duster spray on it will leave a visible film on it, and you see smearing.. (endust/windex/etc..) and this has to be washed off (this works great, wash with dawn dishwashing soap and water, pat dry with lintfree cloth)..

i've tried both, i like the texture of the wrightrights and
the durability of the nushields.. i've used BOTH at once,
and if the nushield is clean and new.. it's as clear as using
the wrightright alone.. i really didn't notice a "tapping" difference between using either one alone.. the wrightright stopped the nushield from slipping and stopped the lint problem, and the nusheild prevented the wrightright from
pulling on the newton's screen.. the nusheild will last much longer than it would alone..

it's expensive to buy both, but it seems to work fine.. atleast,
for me.. i haven't used any of the recent wrightrights, so i don't know how much the texture has changed in the last 8-10 months..
