I remember distinctly seeing both the traditional green eMate _and_ an
orange cased one at a San Francisco Macworld prior to it's release.
Perhaps they were only prototypes for the educational market at that
point (I'm guessing it was January 1997 when I saw them, and the eMate
wasn't officially released until the fall of that same year)... but this
unit worked. I played with it! The orange eMate is also shown in the
amazing Apple Design book. What I wouldn't give for a clear eMate to go
with my clear MP110...
