I interpret the question as more like "How/where does the conversion to PKG
take place?" In other words, on a Mac, does one simply save the file as
PPT-Win and transfer to the Newt from the Mac? Or (as I suspect) does one
have to transfer FIRST to a WinTel machine, on which a Windows app converts
the file to PKG and then transfers to the Newt?
