Hey, all.
Well, I was adventurous this evening and cracked open the new Newt. I
opened up the battery bay, and low and behold... it's tight. Not loose at
all, the battery's snug when it's inserted. Not being a hardware guy, I
didn't pay too much attention to the actual wires, so I'll take a closer
look tomorrow. I did see where David's nice SER-001 fits in, and I see my
upgrade. All in all, a nice little piece of kit. Of course, it feels like
a demo unit, as I still only get maybe five minutes of use before it
konks out.
Someone else mentioned that any activity at all beyond idle could draw
enough to freak out a loose connection, so I'll take a closer peek at the
wiring tomorrow. Anything in particular to look out for there? I saw red,
black, and grey wires attached to the battery cage.
Zac, who really appreciates this list soo soooooo much.
