I have found that the Newton's internet speed can be
dramatic depending on the type of RAM card you use for
internet CACHE. I have both the battery style FLASH
card and the non-battery FLASH cards. If I use the
battery style FLASH card, the downloads will be almost
50% faster than if I use a standard non-battery style
FLASH. I've never used my internal memory for cache
becuase I never have enough (I usually hover at around
100k free!)
