Has anyone thought of bypassing the "dock" app and writing a sync over serial
via Sloup? On the PC side, both OutLink and LookOut use custom sync apps.
LookOut will even sync via the email app.
At one point I used a Perl script on Linux to talk to Sloup and dump out all
my names and email addresses; then turning that into an address book for my
Unix email app. I've recently done a q-a-d Perl script to open up a Unix
mailbox and search for all Newton Birthdays (From a LookOut Sync) dumping out
an html formatted report of them.
Just a thought.
