Hmmm, here is a little list of things I've had on my
Newts (well, the os2.0 Newts that is) that I found
indespensible!
Scrappy - a copy/paste application that allows
multiple clipboards
Tap Styles - instant access to the font CP
TrashPack - allows deletion of soups and pkgs.
Person <-> Company - changes a person name entry to a
company name entry
Hyperfocal - focal length calculation for photography
ASCII - ASCII to HEX or OCT conversion
Therm - find the temperature in the room from your
Newt
TipCalc - find out how much the tip is and for groups,
how much each person owes
AlarmClock - duh
Calc++ - if you miss your HP calculators, this is for
you
Moon - see moon phases!
Games:
Solo DX - three popular version of Solitare
Yatzy - duh
Othello - duh
Majonhh - duh
PFB - Pico Fermi Bagels. a really good guessing game
Books:
Motorola Cell phone bible - hacker's guide to motorola
cell phones
OKI cell phone bible - hackers guide to OKI cell
phones
Neuromancer - duh
Under my Prefs:
atl-rec - duh...
contries - allows the addition of countries
daylight savings - automatically sets the
clock...twice a year.
Now, I have many more applications on my Newt but
these are the ones I could not do without. My
day-to-day activities involve probably 80% of these
applications!
