[NTLK] Living with Palm and Newton together...suggestions?

Hey Team! I have been trying to deal with a Palm V for the last week,
entering data in both my Newt and Palm (as far as my schedule). I am going
to post another note that may help as I try to keep from even having to use
the Palm except for the occasional use of company software.

A couple of you have posted how both are used, one of the stories just
yesterday, of how a person uses BackTalk, etc.

I realize there are LOTS of strengths of the Newton and only two weaknesses:
size and syncing (maybe software issues as a distand 3rd, but fortunately,
this great community support keeps this to a minimum with new releases even
to date with some of the essentials).

The basic conflict is that I love the size of the palm (it fits on my hip)
and I LOVE the easy sync with my Act Database. BUT I HATE GRAFITTI!!!! Did I
mention how much I hate graffitti? I don't WANT to learn how to think in
letters rather than words. I am a touch typist and can type quite quick, but
I think in words, not letters. Besides, I don't WANT to learn to write
capital T's in the middle of my words!!! Honestly, other than the graffiti
issue, I could probably get use to the Palm. However, I have spent a couple
thousand $$ easy on getting my Newt where it is: expansions cards, ethernet
finally works, accel, registered software "out the yazoo". Not to mention
software that is now abandoned and freely available that I WOULD NOT pay for
BUT, actually really enjoy now. Like I just installed SmallTalk. I may only
use it every once in a while, but it sure is cool to have around. I would
have to pay for this on the Palm, and I wouldn't do that.

So, my qustions are:

* What are some things I can do if I am going to use both?
* Should I just use the Palm for uptodate client info from quick Syncs with
our office Act database and the occasional use of company software and do
all my scheduling and to-do list management on the Palm?
* Or should I attempt to get used to the scheduling and contact info being
on the Palm?

Thanks for any feedback!
Drew
