I DO NOT recomend leaving any screws out. I now know that the internal
connector will fail at some point if you do not securely fasten the board
down.
That is why I provide the hardware with each board and why I mailed everyone
who bought one, a set of screws.
A countersink to make the screw head flush is a much better idea.
