It's important to note that this is how you erase the data on the internal
store. You should not have any cards in the PCMCIA slots when you perform a
hard reset, as above. The Newton "flashes" the ports, and the increased
power to the slots can damage your storage card, modem, ethernet card, etc.
Remove any cards before performing a hard reset.
To erase a card, you have to access it's slip from the Card package in
Extras, and tap the erase button.
