I just realized there were two very small but very handy free utilities that
weren't mentioned:

The best one to freeze (best preferences) and thus save free memory (heap)
is Freeze Utilities at http://www.standalone.com/newtonos/index.shtml

and a great simple one to ad multiple clipboards is Options at
http://www.sbm.nu/englisch/newton/index.htm
