Oh, that will need to be added to the list of requirements for any
future Newton: a barcode scanning software (perhaps using the IR port ?)
and a MyGroceries database connected with the Dates app, so that the
Newton will tell you in advance when you need to buy a new box of
coffee, well before the weekend.
The MyGroceries app running in Supervisor mode will pop up a daily
reminder "Take me to your fridge - I will need to scan the contents ...
scanning ........ Milk: 2pts, ALERT: 1pt of Milk will go off in 3 hours
and 40 minutes, drink before 12:00 or need restocking of eggs and flour
for pancakes tomorrow morning ..."
