OK: I set up the Verizon DSL software on my pismo and then I get a message
that says the tcp/ip does not recognize my ethernet card. I have checked and
rechecked the ethernet on my PB nine ways to Sunday and all checks out, back
and forth up and down and left and right. Apple tech support ran the standard
stuff with me on the telephone also and everything checks out. Verizon tech
support pulled out their bag of tricks over the course of two hours on the
phone and no luck. I have OS 9.2 and 10.1. I of course am setting this up in
9.2. The weird part about this is I set up everything on my daughters iBook
SE and EVERYTHING WORKS, no problem. I am going crazy. She has the exact same
set-up OS 9.2 and 10.1. What could be the problem? Any and all help would be
appreciated.
