I could have written this myself!!

I have just such a small area in the centre of the screen, but I only notice
it if I look and it certainly doesnt interfere with HWR. I also found I
didn't get on with a screen protector, I found the screen dim and fuzzy
without the backlight.

If you damage a plastic stylus try hoding it lightly at a slight angle
against a piece of the finest wet and dry paper and twirl it a little, ater
the angle as you go, check often that the blemish has gone. Don't use it yet
- get a piece of softish wood and press the stylus quite firmly on it and
repeat the polishing process as above you will be able to see and feel when
the surface is good again.
