THIS IS GREAT! I love it! Thanks Peter!

Here's what I've done to get the recordings of my kids off Newt. It's
pretty much a no brainer, but: I've used a mic and Window's Sound Recorder
(to make .wav). Also going to try hooking the audio out of the Newton
Interconnect directly to the line-in of the PC. I think there is another
way using sloup (Steve Weyer) or something. Maybe somebody will sound off.
Also, check the FAQ.

well, i've also got an interest. the folks in the
delivery room were appalled that i was holding a green
electronic device down there between my wife's legs,
but i got my daughter's first cry recorded! and i
carry it everywhere with me...

so, how DO we get these newton soundfiles converted to
something a little more flexible?

thanks...
