Hmmm, is the RS recharger set for NiCD or NiMH?
I use Energizer 1600 mAh AA's in my Newts. all the time. I ave. 600-1000
min. per charge with backlight on 30-50% and downloading emails and
webpages about 60-120 min.
Maybe you got bad cells?
I'm retiring my 1100 mAh Panasonic AA's after four good hard use years, now
they last 120 min., used to last 600 min.
