Just as a little piece of info:
Read this about memory upgrades for the eMate in the FAQs:
<http://members.aol.com/_ht_a/thisolnewt/FAQ/newton-faq-hardware.html#IIB1c>
(or any other site that posts the FAQs)
One of the companies (Peripheral Enhancements) that used to produce the
eMate upgrade card would be willing to produce another "batch". Here's the
catch: It has to be a minimum of 200 (twohundred). If there's anybody on
this list who is willing to start this "enterprise", you'll probably earn
the eternal gratitude of all the eMate users, but you'll probably be stuck
with a number of upgrade cards that will take a while to sell. Maybe
Peripheral could be talked into a smaller number, but that is probably the
best you can expect (or spend upwards of $150 to $275 for an upgrade card
on eBay).
Maybe John Venzon can chime in because he was the one who had contact with
Peripheral a couple of weeks ago.
