What mode is the card being put into, AHSM (old Ad-Hoc mode) or IBSS
(802.11b compilant)? If you've got one solid light with the other flashing
very sporadically, I'd suspect AHDM.

That said, there is a way to get the current Windows drivers to go into AHDM
with some registry hacking. The instructions are at:

BTW, there are both Bronze and Bronze Turbo cards. The Bronze cards have no
WEP enncryption. The plain Bronze is only a 2mb card, the Turbo will support
Lucent's proprietary 5.5mb and 8mb modes.
