Waba does have some Socket support now, though my recollection was that VNC
was rather large, and might require a major rewrite to fit into Waba's more
limited libraries. If there were a Waba-version of VNC, it should generally
be possible for latest version of Newt's Cape to launch it (at least it
handles APPLET tag for other common waba apps).

Things have been rather quiet in Waba-land lately, so if you're excited
about having a portable, standard development environment for the Newton,
I'd recommend getting involved as app or VM developer.

I'd love to see this too (I've already got Orinoco card for Mac and PC
laptops). My impression from this list is that there are a few users testing
configuration of current driver, and that developer is back working on it.
