The best that I know is that, like aftermarket air filters (and body panels
:), the original manufacturer cannot prevent the third party manufacturer
from making parts. Installing such parts could void the warranty, but
there is no Copyright or Trade Mark infringement involved -- just make sure
that you do not incorporate any of Apple's trademarks in your casts :).
