I have a combo card. (it's actually USrobotics - but i understand
that that's the same thing as 3Com). Thus far i have had good luck
with the modem (33.6) for faxing, surfing... but, alas, email is
still elusive. (i'm almost temped to just get a web-based email
account).
anyway - the ethernet part has seemed to work, but so far the serial
connection for me is enough.
