Nope, this won't work. It uses RexConnect, which was Starfish's lame
attempt to appease the Linux community ("d!@*&mn freakin' open-source pinko
commies!") asked for a way to use the Rex under Linux: just a program that
takes a text formatted file and dumps it to the rex. They didn't actually
release the protocol, so it has to run on linux.
This, on the other hand, is quite helpful. He's managed to create a
program (windows, admittedly) that WILL access the memory structure. One
program, which just reads a 256KB datafile in and out of the rex through
it's serial cradle is open-source. The other one, which allows
manipulation of the individual data elements on the card is not, though he
says on his webpage that he'll release it to anyone who can show "genuine
interest" (paraphase).
