[NTLK] Internal Mini-DIN

After a full week of anxious waiting, I got my internal Mini-DIN from
David Humphreys today. Aside from a sphincter factor of 8/10 due to
the insertion force, it was a quick, easy and absolutely great
upgrade.

If you only get one upgrade for your MP2100 this year, this should be it!

A few caveats:

1) The mounting holes were all but useless, I couldn't get the case
to fit around the screw heads, but maybe it's because I didn't have
any counter-sunk bolts that would fit the existing mounting areas. Oh
well, my engineering side will learn to adjust. It's pretty stable
even without them.

2) The mini-DIN didn't quite line up with the opening on the Newton
because the pins on my board were at a bit of a weird angle, but a
little surgery with a emery board took care of any protrusions beyond
the case.

3) The afore mentioned insertion force. It's a bit scary, those pins
look rather dainty and it's a pretty rough shove to get them to seat
into the socket.

Overall, these niggling little points don't detract at all from the
final result, and it's usefulness to me far outweighs any
anal-rententative issues I have. Now my serial dongle is sitting in a
box dolefully awaiting a future time when it may be pressed back into
service. Good riddance.

Thanks for a great upgrade!
