It's a power adapter that allows you to run your newton off the wall socket
('mains' for you non US people) instead of batteries, or to charge your
rechargable battery pack. You generally have to buy it seperately. As I
understand it, you can use any of those intended for the MP120 and up,
though the later ones are designed to provide more power. There's probably
something about this in the FAQ.
