Either that -- and I hope not, as Steve Jobs would surely frown upon my
choice of music and if anyone's musical preferences were embodied in the
iPod, it would be his --, or the "Sad iPod" indicates that it can't find
an OS to boot from, just like the "Sad Mac" does. Which is entirely
possible, as part of the iPod's OS is stored on a hidden partition of the
drive and could, in theory at least, be damaged or deleted.
