This is also called "Mime type"
The mime type for the Newton PKG is:
Associated extension: .PKG
Content Type (MIME)
application/x-newton-compatible-pkg

put this in your htaccess, HTTP.conf, or your IIS
settings and you're all set.

Make sure that you set it up for the correct virtual.
Optimally, you will want this to be implemented server
wide.
