i had a similiar problem a little while ago.

i woke up one day and the newton had shifted ALL my birthdays to the 7th of
september!!! i searched around on UNNA and came up with this:

http://www.unna.org/unna/utilites/dates_enhancements/Birthdays1.1/

a neat little app that will go through your names and update birthday info
in dates. however, i think it might have been written for an older OS (i
have 2.1 - an mp2ku - u thanks to christopher dean), because instead of
being 'annual events' they were ordinary 'events', set to repeat yearly. i
also don't think it added/updated anniversaries. so - being anal about
these things - i changed them one by one to annual events. and the
anniversaries? i'm ignoring that...

the funny thing is - on the 7th of the next month my newt advised me there
were new names and would i like to add birthdays to dates. i said yes.

i'm guessing, but perhaps name checks monthly and will update in time. anybody?
