I took delivery yesterday of an eMate from Power On priced at $99 plus $65
for shipping to the UK. It took 8 days to get here and was a perfectly good
clean machine -- used but well looked after. I have no complaints with Jami=
e
at PowerOn who delivered precisely what he said he would.

If that batch of machines is sold out and the next batch is more expensive,
that's life -- it's a seller's market because the manufacturer stopped
making the funkiest portable in the history of computing long before demand
was satisfied. If you don't think it's worth $149 don't buy it. I doubt
whether prissy letters will change anything.
