Yes, but that would have negated his purpose of quick sound bites that
create a humorous chuckle from those who "know" (know in this case being
those who merely pretend to know) and to get a rise out of those who really
know. Flame-baiting, trolling--call it what you will, but the fact that he
was writing a column on "turkeys" is ample evidence that he was not after an
evenly-written, fairly balanced column, but a bunch of one-liners that
packed a lot of punch. To be able to say "'nuff said" was the ultimate.
Unfortunately for his ears/eyes (mail server), he chose the wrong product.
