Well, since I've never used any of the Excite "features", I never really
paid much attention to the whole Excite bankruptcy thing. Comcast did send
an e-mail out a while back that was basically "Service should continue
uninterrupted and if we find out anything to change that we'll let you
know." So, *today* we get the e-mail that our service may get interrupted
on Friday. Not anywhere near enough time to do anything much. Comcast is
offering an alternate dialup service, but it's NetZero, which doesn't
support Macs. I suppose if I have to, I'll dial into AOL, but that's only a
temporary solution (and potentially expensive, too).
