I haven't broken my screen on my Newton but on my Palm I suffered that fate.
The palm fell out of my pocket land on the floor wrong and broke. I would
say that the screens don't crack under heavy use. The will crack, however,
if you drop or put something heavy on them. They are covered in glass, and
therefore behave like glass.

I am curious about those of you who have broken screens.
How did you break them?
Does the glass wear out and eventually, you just tap and BLAM?
This would make me very paranoid about fracturing the screen.
Have any of you broken the screen by just pushing the stylus a "wee" bit too
hard against a worn out glass?
Shudders. I hope not.
Tom
