Re: [NTLK] HTLK: the Woz loves the Newton!

Correct. It's not all money. If it was, 90% of developeres would move to the PC platform (from the mac). Pure market s=
hare. But a Company needs money to survive and no company will sell a product that they loose on. Consider the R&D into=
the cube (more so into the newton). When they are highly overpriced (not for the technology but for the time) apple can=
't sell them.

I love my family to death and If I could I would want to stay home with them all day long. Truth is I need money to make=
them happy along with my care (so that I can afford basic needs and entertainment).

I'm sorry I don't want to turn this forum into a money forum but WOZ like the rest of us still here don't think about the=
monetary issue...... We like a product and we want it.

But that is not how apple (or company) can play.

I hear this comment (make money) here and there, but, where do that stop? Is
there some kind of limit to that? Is this the ultimate goal in life, make
money?

Just some thoughts...

code monkey n.: 1. A person only capable of grinding out code, but unable to
perform the higher-primate tasks of software architecture, analysis, and
design. Mildly insulting. Often applied to the most junior people on a
programming team. 2. Anyone who writes code for a living; a programmer. 3. A
self-deprecating way of denying responsibility for a management decision, or
of complaining about having to live with such decisions. As in "Don't ask me
why we need to write a compiler in COBOL, I'm just a code monkey."
