Ah, yes, try getting _out_ of town during rush hour. There's the bridge to
the Fort Pitt tunnels, where something like 8 lanes close down to 3 or 4,
and it seems like everybody wants to go from the one side to the other!
"Brotherly shove" takes on a new meaning there. :-)

I was in Boston this summer, and discovered the big dig. Amazing. And worse,
it seems they are constantly _moving_ the roads! Pittsburgh isn't that bad.

We used to have an evening TV magazine for Pittsburgh (forget the name) but
they had a segment, called the "Phantom Diner." This guy would go
anonymously to different restaurants and rate them. It was quite popular,
and I think that one segment kept the program on the air as long as it did.
:-) Good dining, and I moved out of the area when I was 18, and never really
had a chance to take full advantage of it (parents still live there). :-) If
you get a chance to get up to Beaver County, there is a small chain of
fast-food joints, called the Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe. They have the best
chili fries. Worth the trip, in my opinion. :-)

Boy, you can make a fellow home sick. :-)

I promise to be quiet now. Maybe we should have renamed the thread... ;-)
